These are the words that describe our women. The years behind them, and some may say even the years before them, are marked with suffering and strife. Clinging to their community, their giftings and more importantly the hope of a better future, these women joined our family at Qadimi to make a difference.

Our Qadimi women believe in the concept of joining together, of weaving not just a single carpet but a better narrative for their lives.

With the presence of Qadimi our artisans can sustain a livelihood through the art of carpet weaving. They do this in a community setting where they feel responsible for the underserved and seek to utilize all their resources to foster hospitality and care. Their heartbeat is to craft a culture of servanthood and empowerment among one another, young and old.

Not only are these women invested in preserving this artform but a desire for leadership and education has developed among them. At Qadimi we providing our family of weavers with basic health and education needs. We see them as individuals ready to become leaders and voices of truth in their communities. Article
