Qadimi: Our Narrative

As artists our goal is to create something of enduring beauty and value. Our bespoke heritage inspired rugs are handcrafted to last a lifetime. We focus on the quality of our product and the quality of life for our weavers and customers by providing a sense of hospitality in home furnishings.

Our origin story is founded on hospitality. We seek to bridge places that have yet to be joined, primary Afghanistan and the West. Knowing that we are making an impact on both our community and in the lives of our customers is what sustains us. When the days are long or the political climate increasingly disturbing, our focus on serving others is what we keep coming back to. Our desire is still the same; supporting our 30+ artisans and connecting their decades of knowledge and skill with deserving families in the States, excited to showcase their Qadimi rug.

We strive to create beyond the ethical. We seek to be redemptive and to bring things back to the way it was originally designed. Creative restoration happens through sacrifice and love in the way we work and the way we interact with others. We don’t desire to simply respect people but to bless them!
