Madder Red is one of the most ancient dyes taken from the madder root and produces a beautiful crimson red.

Woodland is dyed first with indigo and then soaked into a vat of pomegranate skins that produces a bold yellow coloration. The rich indigo and the organic yellow produces a deep forest green that is the perfect color for our Christmas Stockings!

Nila is a rich natural blue dye extracted from the leaves of the Indigofera genus.

As told by Dheeraj Chhipa himself, this particular print was named after women coming back from the well and juggling large terracotta vases. This instability due to a heavy load is expressed in the lopsided arms of the plant stems.
